The 2023 festival event continues a significant tradition as one of New Zealand’s most iconic seafood/ kaimoana celebrations.
You’ll get to savour a variety of seafood cooked in a myriad of different ways by renowned chefs, along with food trucks and local community groups. The seafood is complemented with an array of local and New Zealand beverages, and you’ll be entertained by live bands, buskers, seafood cooking classes and much more!
Top Chefs: Showcasing kaimoana are some of NZ’s top chefs. They'll make fresh, delicious dishes look quick and easy to prepare. Each chef will perform a 40 minute culinary presentation, so prepare to be inspired with seafood cooking master classes!
Entertainment: Expect a fabulous line up of talented entertainers with live music on two stages playing from start to finish.
Food: Over 30 food stalls and food trucks offer a variety of delicious seafood and other tasty treats. You’ll be able to taste and indulge with delicious, fresh aromatic dishes from foodie vendors. Expect prices to range from around $5 to $15, depending on your tastes and preferences.
